Ghostbusters premiered to us regular folks (non celebs) on June 8, 1984. In recent years unofficially and officially the date has become Ghostbusters Day. Naturally its even more official during a milestone year for the Ghostbusters franchise. As ghostheads, Sony Pictures Entertainment, and their partners honor and celebrates not only Ghostbusters past, its present as well.
What can we all be part of for Ghostbusters Day this year? Sony Pictures Entertainment has a handy press release.
With the edit going well and our next trip fast approaching we are getting ready to show a little more footage! The kind folks at Wizard World Philadelphia on 2nd-5th June at the Pennsylvania Convention Centre have allowed us to attend their convention. We will be running a panel talk on Friday 3rd at 3pm Room 119AB. We’ll be showing 10 minutes of footage and on hand to answer questions about the documentary.
Anthony and Claire Bueno have been working on the first Ghostbusters documentary, Cleanin’ Up The Town during the last 8 years! In a year where Ghostbusters (2016) will be premiering in theaters globally Bueno Productions is nearing completion on a long awaited Ghostbusters documentary!

Italian ghosthead Joe Nonostante spent a year (what were you doing?) by not only translating Tobin’s Spirit Guide to Italian, (that has to be easy right?) adding pretty much every ghost from The Real Ghostbusters, Extreme Ghostbusters, with additional entries from Ghostbusters: The Video Game. Making this the largest and most complete Tobin’s Spirit Guide to date at 496 pages.
Ghostbusters Italy, tell us more. Translation* to follow after the original Italian.

If their was never an official one, then we don’t blame Supernova Costuming for making one. Hey, is that a space reference or a Oasis homage? Continue reading →
