I was checking Ghostbusters merchandise for price comparisons. While I was on Ghostbusters Store I saw the above new t-shirts. I hadn’t seen it posted or talked about by ghostheads at that time. Instead of immediately posting here I left a Facebook post with Robin Shelby. If anyone should have one of these, its definitely her. Robin Shelby “earned it.” 🙂
Each of these two Krispy Kreme Ghostbusters “donut” shirts glow in the dark. We’re not sure with Slimer why the artist didn’t just use the image of Slimer (portrayed by Robin Shelby during Ghostbusters II™) that both Sony and Krispy Kreme use on ghostbusters.com and is part of the Krispy Kreme Ghostbusters promotion until October 31, 2014.
Each t-shirt can currently be pre-ordered and will ship before or by October 27, 2014.
Our friends at Krispy Kreme have set up a Krispy Kreme Ghostbusters™ promotional site known as Krispy Skremes. We love that name and maybe wish we had come up with it in a meeting…first. Ok, we didn’t, with a little more time we might have.
Krispy Skremes is a location based site to locate your nearest Krispy Kreme. Using your “P.K.E Meter” and Google maps (Ghostbusters HQ) you can scan for escaped ghosts! Why did the ghosts escape? They’re after Krispy Kreme donuts of course!
This morning Robin Shelby was at Krispy Kreme’s Burbank, CA location to hang out with California franchise members and together enjoy hopefully delicious 30th Anniversary donuts. Robin Shelby shared her album of pictures and after asking is allowing Ghostbusters Incorporated to share them. A special thanks to Robin Shelby and her husband Sean Spence.

Ghostbusters Incorporated, Sony Pictures, Stay-Puft Marshmallows, and pastry chain Krispy Kreme have teamed up for Ghostbusters™ 30th Anniversary! While we can’t reveal all the details, from the teaser posters taken by a ghosthead Krispy Kreme will be selling two different themed Ghostbusters donuts. Hopefully the Stay-Puft’s eyes will appear more “marshmallowy” then jack-o-lantern. Their will also be a special Ghostbusters pail, which during the Halloween season is useful when kids ask people for candy.
